So where does Rep. Schroeder (D-Ore.) get off saying that banning raceday Lasix would be life threatening to horses? He is merely parroting the vets’ party line, as the vets stand to lose hundreds of millions of dollars per year should raceday Lasix- and painkillers be banned in the US.. As a veterinarian, Schroeder lacks all credibility on this issue.
