I had posted answer to your question in a previous comment..lol..To my understanding, No, you don’t have to pay taxes on settlement because when claimants played with real money, it was with taxed moneys already that claimants used to play at BF, etc..plus worse comes to worse a claimant can claim a percentage of loss because claimants gambled it away..Many, unfortunately have or will continue to play with settlement payments again..sad but true..i haven’t played for a couple years and I never will again even though it was fun having been a Fake Billionaires’ within my own Club that I had started in those days, lol..Stay safe and blessed Cheryl and Everyone!

@M&B Hello from California! I posted yesterday before your posting today that I did receive my supplemental check in the mail yesterday, Nov 9th and it was little over 27 percent payment, yay! I’m so happy you received yours too! Within next 90 days if anyone didn’t cash their check it will be disbursed among left All claimants, if there are any moneys left but not if under $5.. I’m thankful you and Colleen kept me updated.. and I’m disappointed in why BF settlement adm website didn’t maintain us informed about this supplemental payment..so unprofessional and caused emotional distress to some claimants.. that’s why I’m very thankful for this website! Colleen.. Hola! So looks like you read that some people have received their supplemental payment via PayPal today; banks should be next and mailed checks next too…. Hopefully it’s happening..I actually received my first part of settlement via check in the mail same day as others who received theirs via bank, etc..I was surprised..Yes, please keep us posted as I will too keep y’all posted..I STILL WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT percentage of supplemental payment is being disbursed now..is it the 20 percent that was put on hold from us all or ?? Also, let me Thank those that Fought this Settlement Battle for Us or else none of Us would have been blessed with some of our moneys that we all received! I also am very concerned as to how this settlement was handled as it appeared many people were not kept informed properly and much emotional anguish was put on claimants.. for example, there’s still no update on this last settlement supplemental payment on the BF adm website..Many people were and had/have been left out wondering what is going on etc.. @Brandie- I just read that someone posted on Reddit about the 20% pay out from Bigfish. He said he received 26% payout via Venmo today. I’m not sure if that was true but that’s what it said. Did anyone else received payment via direct deposit or Venmo today?

Also, I’m wondering will any moneys be taken out of our remaining 20 percent supplemental payment to supply those that appealed the initial claim? M & B..Hi.. no you don’t have to do anything for the remaining settlement amount, which should be disbursed after Judge approves any challenges that are pending; court papers said In Beginning of by October, Judge will review challenges, etc.. it’s on the bf settlement website..
