I have made many trips to their casino over the years. I live about 5 miles from the new proposed Catawba casino in kings Mountain. Obviously I have a major interest in the success of the new casino. For over 20 years Cherokee has had a monopoly on gambling in North Carolina. It is time for competition. Monopolies do not last forever.
