Properties have been neglected by both companies, so here’s hoping that it changes. Yes, Caesars had its problems, and was trying to correct those problems, but an activist investor decided what was best for him, and had them sell. I only see a company that will be even bigger, with bigger debt, in a time where there is not much revenue. Sell more Las Vegas properties to Vici, and manage them better. Part of the problem that I see as an industry trend is, not enough employees for all the work that needs to get done, thanks to the Great Recession. When Caesars was bought out by private equity, it was a disaster….this merger wont help, unless they can better control their expenses.
