I visited Lake Tahoe for four years in a row in the winter months with a group of guys from all over the country. I gave them the fundamentals of craps, and they took off, all at Lakeside. At times we were the only players at the table, but it was always great. We will never forget Andy and the other kind, personable employees at Lakeside. It was like gambling at home if that makes any sense. It was a small casino, but it made up for it with wonderful service.
I think I speak for the entire group when I say we will always miss the Lakeside, because times like that are gone for good.

I just found a deck of cards from Lakeside Inn where I spent my honeymoon 30 years ago. While there, we skied and gambled a little at the big resorts but preferred the friendly atmosphere at Lakeside Inn. I decided to look up the property and am saddened to hear they have had to close.

We visited Lakeside from the Sacramento area for 20 years and were so, so sorry to hear its closed. We loved all the specials they had and loved dining at their restaurant, enjoying many great meals there and gambling. We will have to find a new “favorite casino” to visit for the next 20 years; will have to try many of them out!
