This article is accurate. The JAMBO’s picks were good, statistically very, very likely (86%) to be better than “luck” (over 200 + games), and yes, getting the right odds and spread, and a full $500 down on every bet (Prairie View A&M vs. Georgia State, anyone?) wasn’t always trivial. We only used one betting service in NJ (where everything is/was legal) and we were betting with a >$10K bankroll. Losing $1~$2K on a given day’s bets was part of the parade.
