A group of us (five) that live @Turnberry Place decided to walk over to the Fontainebleau. We entered on Elvis Presley Blvd. and spent an hour and a half walking around, reading the menus posted outside of the restaurants, that were all closed, and getting the lay of the land. We made some mental notes of restaurants that we would like to sample. We ended up in Vida for what was supposed to be a late lunch. I believe it’s their all-day dining option. It took only 5 minutes to be seated and the hostesses were very nice. Then the shit hit the fan! We had to almost trip a bus person after 20 minutes just to get water. We were seated in a large booth and the table was dirty. I mentioned it to the bus person. His arms were not long enough to reach it, so I took his rag and cleaned it up. We then waited 20 minutes and almost tripped a server to get an order taken. By now we’re fifty minutes into this “dining experience”. The food came 30 minutes later. I don’t know if they had to go to the grocery store or what?? When they brought out the order, it was for four NOT five diners. Guess whose food was missing? At 105 minutes I got my food, as others were about half done. The check was $200.00. I added that only to show how much a crappy experience costs. I doubt if doubling it could fix their problems.
