As others have mentioned, the place has sucked since the table games were taken out. This was always a must stop for me on every trip to Vegas until those were removed.. hopefully the casino stays as is and they bring back the tables!

CR is the best place in Vegas!!! We go once/twice a year for a week or two each visit. We spend time there everyday and love ending our evenings there. The casino bartenders are THE BEST!!! They are always friendly and consistently busting their butts to serve the customers. Sometimes bigger isn’t better and this is one of those times. Without CR Vegas definitely won’t be the same. I hope they decide to stand with CR and let it remain standing. A few things could be improved slightly. Other casinos have done away with tables as well but you should always offer something for everyone.

Casino Royale is disgusting!! Smells like backed up sewer in there. Husband went to bathroom and a homeless man was stripped down naked washing himself, paper towels and water all over. Dark, smokey and dirty.

Casino Royale is a dump it’s about time they did something with it. On many occasions(I have lived in Vegas since 2000) I couldn’t use the restroom due to heroin addicts nodded out in the bathroom stalls lol. Sometimes progress is good:)

These big companies are just overtaking the strip and making it all about them building a 699 tower with no casino is just a bid deal and just add another place that has no free parking, that is why we stay off the strip because us locals cannot come down town to a show without paying for parking.
So my money will be spent at the local casinos for us locals.
I said this to Star and they changed there policy.
So do what you want it will just keep us out of the strip.

Casino Royale is still owned by the Elardi family – Tom Elardi (75) and Margaret Elardi (97).
It became part of the Best Western chain In 2012 but was not sold to Best Western.

All of the Best Western Hotels are independently owned and operated by those that have bought into the franchise.

So what happens to White Castle? Is it a separate business then Casino Royale? I stay at Harrah’s all the time and I go over to White Castle twice during my seven day stays and I usually spend a couple hours at the casino just playing some video poker and relaxing. I enjoy playing there and definitely will miss it. I will be sorry to see it go!

Where some “improvements” in Vegas are larger more spectacular hotels,others just remove the great old school las Vegas locations from our experience! Casino Royal is a prime example of this “old school” historical vibe! I know that the “historical” reference has no place in the decision making processes when it come to Las Vegas casino/hotels. What is here today will eventually be replaced by the implosion or the wrecking ball process with something newer and (supposidly) more “spectacular”!
