A good example would be a new car engine that did not require fuel. By contrast, the casino makes it’s money by taking it away from people who already have jobs. They provide few good-paying full time jobs with benefits, but hire a large number of part-time workers so they can brag about how many jobs they are creating. I read a statement by one pro-casino committee member that only the people who would be living near a proposed casino had the right to say anything negative, and that the rest of us who did not live near it should keep our noses out of it. I am glad she was only a committee member, and not the President Of the United States on December 7th, 1941.
