Why on earth would a customer (big VIP player or otherwise) be allowed to use service elevators? And why did the bell person not question as to why he wanted to use those elevators rather than the normal ones all guests use? Somebody needs to find out the answer to that question. If I were viewing that security tape the first thing I would do is ask that bell person why Paddock felt the need to get access to the service elevators. Clearly he wanted to avoid the other guests from seeing that he had numerous heavy bags and also what floor # he pushed.

MGM should have privately notified all the victims who filed lawsuits and told them of their plans rather than have them find out thru the media. I’m sure it was reopening all the old wounds for those people which was a very poorly thought-out way of handling this sensitive matter. P.R. 101 classes necessary for MGM!!

Sad to say, I will not be spending my time or money at an MGM property anymore. LARGE Corporate businesses need to take note…..small honest independent businesses are what this country is founded on and I will be happy to stay/play at a smaller off strip property
