I must say I use to work at Borgata in AC. I witnessed so many that were paid very well do nothing but be on their phones talking to family or friends or in other dept. doing nothing but talking. Supervisors giving food away like it was nothing. So they do need to clean house way too much wasted money…..

Perhaps Mr Murren should do some analysis versus utilizing the old analogy that laying off employees saves the company. Initially he will realize a savings in operating income but will that solve the issue, no! What are they doing to promote and maintain business? Focus on that Jim!

MGM and Jim Murren has ruined the casino business. I hardly believe Murren is worth 14 million. No one in a casino is worth that kind of money as casinos are ran by a bunch of morons and still make millions. I have been in this business for 25 years and I wouldn’t own MGM stock unless Murren stepped down!

Gone are the days of Customer service-What really makes the human touch more needed in today’s corporate world -Replacing Bartenders with Robots?
