This is definitely what would bring me back to Vegas to gamble, I usually go a few times a year to Reno because it’s cheaper for rooms (Though I usually get everything comped anyway) and Reno casinos are quite good at benefits from gambling and actually are not cheap or stiff with the free drinks. I think people today want to see the themed interesting aspects of what Vegas has to offer when they go on vacation. What is in Vegas currently is under themed or ripped apart theming to the free casinos that look unique. There is way to much modern buildings that all look the same and bidding and just plain boring casino floors that are just not fun to gamble in as an aesthetically interesting space. Square buildings and modern is what we could see in any city casino, bring back the weird stuff and unique things to look at and Vegas will get people flooding it and properly gambling again.

These are indeed the kind of hotels Vegas needs to keep bringing in the crowds. Vegas is like an adult theme park, but gambling is just not enough of a reason to go there and plain square, rectangle hotels are not an attraction worth spending that type of money for. My 1st vegas experience was the Flamingo for my honeymoon. No real impression, sorry but loved the Vegas lights and attractions like Excaliber, Ceasars enough to return for our 10th anniversary. At which time we decided we had to bring the kids back to show them all the cool things we saw on our anniversary trip. I always tell people going to vegas is like traveling the world in one strip. So the Luxor was built and that’s where we decided to go for our 2nd trip with the kids to vegas, how many times will you get an opportunity to sleep in a pyramid right? This year we went just to explore the Mirage, but especially for the Volcano, which I am very sad to see go. Though the Guitar building is doable, just not for us, it still makes for an attraction. Resort World we felt were boring. But this Moon Hotel, it will get us back to Vegas and though grown now when we told our kids about it…they will be going back to vegas as well. When people go on vacation they either want to rest or have the experience of their lifetime. Vegas is the place you go for that experience of a lifetime. Keep the attractions coming and let the borings go to the beach.

Theme resorts are making a comeback? MGM & Caesars have been detheming resorts over the past decade or so & Resorts World decided against doing an Chinese theme, like was originally planned. Theme or not, let’s see if this resort actually happens
