A casino in State College is just as much of a non-starter as was the casino planned for Gettysburg. Fortunately, that proposed travesty that ignored common sense was defeated. Bally’s hasn’t backed off and changed course in State College because their previous CEO would have viewed that as an embarrassment. Bally’s brand-new CEO, Robeson Reeves, should revisit that previous business decision right now. If he chooses to sit back and watch how things play out, the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania will make the correct decision that Bally’s is obviously reluctant to make. It will be front-page breaking news either way.
