They weren’t working before the pandemic and already receive a check and food stamps, which they have increased. Renters haven’t been paying rent but can’t be put out. That money should have been given directly to landlords of folks who can show that they lost income. I pay taxes and am not rich although I made over $75k, why should my taxes go to folks who have not even loss their income yet I can’t get anything. Why should folks with children get a check for each child? They are getting extra food stamps for those children, why does each child need $1400? This whole thing is a waste of my tax dollars and makes me want to vote for a republican next time!!
