Hey Brian “BEAVER” stop being a racist please. White people 200 years ago may have caused problems for native Americans obviously but today’s native Americans have only themselves to blame for poverty and addiction. They have every opportunity that all races have and have you noticed that foreign folks of all races come to America and succeed despite the obstacles? Native Americans have always had the chance to do that for themselves but have chosen not to.

And by the way it is not WHITE people trying to stop this casino moron. It is other gambling establishments using a law firm to try and stop it. Please educate yourself before opining and looking like not only a racist but a fool.

I find it unconscionable that members of the Elk Grove and California communities would attempt to stop Native Americans from expanding their income by participating in virtually the only segment of the economy that the White Establishment has found itself blocked from denying to our First Peoples. The restrictions placed on Reservation bound Native People’s force them to live in sub third world conditions. Finally, their is a segment of the economy which is allowing tribes to gain financial ground and lift current and future generations out of abject poverty. Whether these objections and legal actions are brought by financial rival, due to bigotry or jealousy, they are shameful. I look forward to the new Elk Grove Casino.
