Folklore has it that some have been endowed with ��THE GIFT��. It has been described as a brief look into the future, or a second sight. Occurring at random, it is unpredictable in both frequency and duration. Some believe that I have been blessed (or cursed) with THE GIFT, as was my Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother before me.

From my early age of 6, my mother predicted that I would one day fall a great distance. She cautioned me to keep my body loose, and do not ��tense up�� as that would result in shattering many bones in my body. At the age of 19, while serving in the Navy, I fell 48 feet. During the fall I recalled my mother��s repeated warnings, ��DON��T TENSE UP��. As a result, I am alive today.
