I wouldn’t want to live in a world without a city or cities like Las Vegas. A bunch of prude, rude, religious extremists, Million Mom groups, and other ultra-conservative nutjobs, ruin everything beautiful and free in the world, and poison our hearts with their mundane concept of good and evil – thank good for or maybe thank bad, for Vegas. Who says that bad and sinful people have to be vile and cruel; maybe we are just a little spicy, colourful or naughty. If I was the mayor of the town, I would tell all of the churches to hit the road whose only purpose are there to “save” people. Please save me from all of them. And I agree, even though the glitz and glamour are great, part of Vegas should be restored to its original integrity; you should feel like you are walking into another time when you are there – like they show us in the movies when the city was young, and when you walked into a Casino you couldn’t hear yourself think over the sound of coins and slot machines. Dear Las Vegas, I live in Arizona and I would move from where I am now to you in a second if I could – and I might now that I hear that rents are affordable.

The stripper and ovulation thing was an invalid study (it only covered 2 cycles, which is not a big enough sample to reacha proper conclusion.

Furthermore it was debunked by a stripper who tracked her cycles, and saw no measurable bump in money during ovulation

I know I’m an outlier, but I HATE the Fremont canopy. If it were up to me, I’d rip it down and return Fremont to an “old Vegas” vibe.

Sure, it may be interesting to visitors. But it’s the SAME FREAKING SONGS every night. And don’t get me started on how much I think the Imagine Dragons suck.

Have you tried dining outside the hotels? There are some excellent inexpensive restaurants. Las Vegas has residents from all over the world and its restaurants reflect that. For example, the best $10 meal in town IMHO is here:

I totally disagree with loving the food or the drinks. The prices vs. quality is a joke compared to other places. They both seem very chain-restaurant(ish) and not inspired or original. Most of the “quality” restaurants are just offshoots of the real ones in other places (think SF, LA, NYC)… Also, the people that work on the strip have for the most-part, majorly degraded over the years. They are crabby, unfriendly and ill-informed at best these days.
