That explains a lot. A stop in at Bonaza is almost a standard Vega’s ritual. My last trip most of the unique Vega’s items were stashed behind the glass counter were gone. 50 years is a long time to run a shop and the Bonaza stood in lets just say some not so times for that end of the boulevard. I hope the Bonaza stands up for 50 more years and whomever contemplates purchasing the property outright better be kind to the Bonaza or the fortune they seek may not be so bright as others who messed with Vega’s landmarks have learned or are in the process of learning.

The place looks and feels like it has been sold to Crappy Flea Markets Unlimited LLC. In days gone by one could spend hours in that place. Last week I had seen more than enough in just ten minutes. Then I went home and took a ‘Silkwood shower’.
