Good. Caesars Forum was too small anyway. 300K sq feet and it was shoulder to shoulder that Saturday. They also had space in Harrahs, Linq, and Flamingo…all packed. LVCC is a good move.

MGM and Caesars know that BlackHat (Government Cyber Security) occurs separate; but also during Def Con (Hackers); yet they failed to consult with either (both Resorts themselves get hacked due to their own negligence, just like the CCSD did!)

It’s fine relocating Def Con – Black Hat elsewhere, because Caesars is a shell of it’s former self (even their Convention Space needs a makeover!)

I was personally hoping for a relocation to Downtown because everywhere is within walking distance (or a short uber/lyft ride!)

The Las Vegas Convention works out to have more room, with a Food Court off the Main Entrance (food trucks!), Vegas Loop and Monorail. Hackers won’t complain about the Sahara (at least they have hot water unlike the Flamingo !) + parking (limited, but more than what Linq offers!) + the Peppermill will welcome hungry hackers.

I find it amusing that Resorts World didn’t jump on this opportunity, yet they were okay with the Porn Industry this year (I’m sure there was plenty of bedding that need to be changed in those Hotel Rooms!)

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Caesars missed a chance to recoup some of it’s ransom losses by gouging room prices and strategically placing/pricing food options. Then again, Caesars doesn’t have a reputation of hiring great leadership, just inept bean counters that piss off every aspect of the employee/tourist/client relationship. There’s no imagination or willingness to create an environment people want to visit. just financial rape of everyone they come into contact with.
