Casino Royale has expanded and updated over the last two years. I can’t speak for the hotel only the casino.
]]>Yeah maybe, but they used to say that about O’Shea’s too, that if you took away the seediness and 30 year old dust and beer stains no one would come back to that…have you walked through there lately? It’s packed all the time.
You can update/upgrade something that needs it without it losing its character.
]]>It hangs on BECAUSE it’s not like every other place on the strip. Once Barbary Coast/Bill’s bit the dust, CR stood alone. It’s always packed – they must be doing something right.
]]>It all depends on how you grew up. If you grew up laboring in the sun every day, you left the job site and zeroed in on the nearest beer store to pick up a six-pack that would be down the hatch before you got home. On the other hand, if you grew up fancy, you probably grew up sipping beer like it’s wine. So unless you’re a sipper, Michelob is fine. I drink Natural Light. It’s like pure water with a perfect balance of fizz. I can pour can after can straight down my throat after a hard day and still make my trailer payment, which is key to avoiding homelessness.
]]>I never see anyone drinking regular Michelob. Never. So it didn’t surprise me that it was the $1 beer at CR. They could raise the price to $10 for all I care, I wasn’t going to pay a buck for a bottle of a beer I couldn’t stomach. I’m the only one who doesn’t think it’s a really, really great beer, evidently. Que sera sera.
