Several of the numbers have names, the names originate based on ryhmes or phonetic phrasing and the good ones catch on. Sadly some of the lame ones do too. I actually came to this link because i’ve not ever learned the names for 5 or 8 and i was wondering if there were any. There’s the obvious johny 5 as a short circuit reference.
The only numbers that are considered numbers in craps terminology are 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10. 7 and 11 are naturals, while 2, 3 and 12 are craps (technically the craps are naturals also but its squares/rectangles thing). So, the names of the numbers that i know are: 4 little joe, 6 jimmy hix, 9 nina rosse, 10 big ben. Any 7 is a skinny dugan, not sure i’ve heard the benny blue for 52 before, thats pretty good. I would grant honorable mention names to 12 box car willy, and 2 benny snake eyes willson (he can call the dice foe day stop movin). It should be noted that a bet wouldn’t ever be booked using any of the nicknames, so we actually call a 2 aces, a 3 ace duce, 12 is just 12, and 11 is a yo. Eleven and seven sound too much alike, that’s why 11 is yo.
Oh, and we should always (and there are always exceptions) call the big number first, i.e. 65, 32, 41 etc.
Here’s some bonus stick calls for you who read the comments and like dice. I will try not to repeat thise from the article, but some of them ones i’ve used.

(5,3) E, I, G, H, T it’s 53
(6,2 or 5,3) is 8 easy, its easy to get ate – it’s great to get ate

(4,2) anything with 3 or 4 syllables that rhymes with 2, tried and true, that girl you knew, etc – 42 the meaning of life the universe and everything
5. it’s the five aliva that rhymes with saliva, the finna the flava the fish. The alliteration and pseudo-rhyming can go on and on

(4,1) 41 four fingers and a thumb – fever in the funk house run kitty run – 4 hoes and a pimp
