Give me a break! I think that this was due to a lot of backlash from the rewards members threatening to quit MGM rewards if Cosmopolitan didn’t do some kind of tear match for the people that earn their fear status at Cosmopolitan I understand that it would be mathematically impossible to do an exact point for point conversion but for everybody that’s a sterling member has maintained Sterling through 2024 they should be converted to a pearl membership over at MGM because the benefits are similar. In my mind that’s the only fair way to do it and then you have until the end of 2024 to enjoy the benefits that MGM doesn’t include in their Pearl membership in any identity points that you have will be added to your MGM points to determine your tier status for 2025 unless you already maintained your status for 2025 through Cosmo. Companies should always honor what they promise and not try to screw loyalty members over or lose the customers.
