Ever since the Wynn opened, I’ve been impressed with how quickly they change features and offerings that aren’t working revenue and guest-satisfaction wise. I don’t eat seafood, so the limited offerings on the menu that appealed to me at Costa di Mare didn’t generate many repeat visits from me. However, I enjoyed the atmosphere while dining there immensely! I don’t enjoy the atmosphere at SW, despite really enjoying the food there. Instead of converting the space to a Gucci store, I would much prefer this two-level space be redone into a more traditional dark wood and marble steak and seafood house. I’m sure Wynn can find space elsewhere on the property for Gucci.

I also ate at Costa Di Mare 3-4 times, with the exception of white truffle in the fall, the quality of the food is not worth its price, n they are expensive even by Wynn standards…..my personal opinion, I am not a fan of Mediterranean fish, they are 2nd rate fishes but sold for top prices because they were flown in from Europe. The fishes are generally not fresh enough to be worth top price…..in addition, they are not tasty fishes….
