The Cirque shows get a lot of repeat fans, I’ve been to many of them twice or more and have friends that also have gone to the same show multiple times. These shows are at a level above the comic, magic, adult and singing shows offered. And every day there are lots of fresh first-time visitors to Las Vegas eager for top-tier entertainment. Maybe the reduction in conventions and foreign travelers has had such a negative affect on Cirque show ticket sales that they aren’t making record profits like they once did. But it’s hard to believe that the “O” show at Bellagio isn’t making plenty of money, they are close to sold out in mid & rear seats whenever I check for tickets and the casino doesn’t hold back a huge number of seats for high rollers. I’d hete to see the loss of Cirque shows, they and the top-level concerts like we had with Celine, Cher and others are a big part of what distinguishes Las Vegas from other vacation destinations. I hope we aren’t entering a new phase of out-with-the-old things and getting lesser entertainment options in return.

Let’s just say I’m closely linked with the theater and have to dispel these rumors. Have been present at multiple company meetings for the inner technical staff on this show. The long money being injected for upgrades and marketing and advertising leads me to believe the sources for this rumored closure are nothing more than baseless chatter.

The only thing about Ka was the stage. I didnt find it that intresting. Mystere was great.
I hope that they put in a new act or maybe something like Ceasers did or Wynn and make a show apart from Cirque.

You need to fact check yourself. I work at KA and we aren’t going anywhere any time soon. Every show has its difficulties, but that’s showbiz .

I am not surprised it’s not that great. The Stage is amazing but Mystere is a much better show. Probably why it’s packed night after night.
Have not seen MJ one but im not a fan of MJ.
I would want something besides a live residency if KA dies.
Id want to see another Cirque show or maybe MGM will go the way of Wynn and Caesars and make their own show.

As someone who works for Cirque Du Soleil you should probably get your facts correct lol. first LOVE was one of the more profitable shows but Hard rock is demolishing the theater cause they don’t want anything in the hotel that is reminiscent of the mirage. Criss Angels show was a flop as he hardly would show up so they had to cancel shows constantly and he would show up wasted or on drugs.
