Martorano’s was my wife’s and I, “go to” place for a really good meal. We always included them in our nights out for at least one meal. They had the best Chix parm, I ever had……being as I hate Quiche and dope, I will not be stopping at Martha and Snoop’s restaurant. Who else in Vegas has really good Chix parm….Scott, I know you are an expert….give me a recommendation please.

Also, we have not had an escalator update lately……how is it going?

I will believe they care about “gamblers” the minute they start showing they do indeed care about “gamblers”… I get “take it or leave it” vibes from a company that sets super high table minimums and crappy video poker pay scales. And splitting the companies into landlord/lessee relationships essentially turns the hospitality business in Las Vegas into a game of chicken. At least Derek Stevens gave us a plaque and a shout out, us avid Las Vegas junkies are being creatively ignored. I see it as a challenge, they are testing my Las Vegas addiction by creating roadblocks and barriers to block the things I love about my favorite city. I will let this shake out, I want to see what tact San Manuel takes at The Palms, if they offer only $15 minimum craps my dice days are nearing the end…

Now maybe their idea of a regular gambler is the convention goer who comes in once a year and dumps $200 on the automatic craps machine or the yahoo from the local ElDiablo joint who gets two free nights at Harrahs in Vegas, but what is Tom “Caligula” Reeg really focusing on?
Sucking every penny than can before they implode their nine Vegas properties.

It wouldn’t surprise me if Eldorado positioned its restaurants, theaters, boutiques, etc., so they were leased from the property owner Vici. If you want to focus on gambling, the dayclubs and other distractions are best handled as they are at modern malls.
