I’m sure they care, but you’re right, it’s surprising they haven’t done anything at all to prevent another incident like this. That sidewalk is exposed, and whether by accident or intention, it seems like an unnecessary vulnerability.

That wasn’t an accident. That was murder and attempted murder. And I hope she rots in prison until she’s so old that she can’t drive.

And why does it not surprise me that the Clark County commissioners talked a big game at the time, wringing their hands, and saying how they needed to do something to protect pedestrians? And then never did a damn thing?
