Perhaps the difference with JT is, he can actually sing, play instruments and uses a band when performing. he’s a consummate performer in concert and puts all these so called “track using artists” to shame. Do I like his music?, nope. do I buy his music, nope. but I can recognize real talent and the insanely class show he’ll put on. that’s why FB is paying thru the nose. Kudos to FB. Also, the only other act I can think of that could top this would be talking Gene and Paul into a KISS show. you’d think for 6 mil they would squeeze out one more performance. they don’t need the money, but we all know Gene’s reputation about being greedy. for what it’s worth, I think only idiots eat, drink and gamble on the strip. I don’t care how classy the joint is, it’s robbery.

I’d take Justin’s music over that boring U2 any day. Then again, ticket sales seem to be good for U2. I can’t understand why anyone would pay hundreds of dollars to listen to an Emo rock crooning singer/band. Lot of weed smokers and depressed people in the world looking to fill that spiritual gap. no, I’ll take bringing sexy back any day.

I’ve heard of both Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel; but I’d be hard-pressed to recall in what context, or to remember anything else about either of them. Clearly I’m not in their primary target demographic. I’ll extend sincere best wishes to FB for the opening; but as I have said before, the acid test will be the day-to-day operation–with not one but two “high-end resorts,” surrounded by vacant lots and older and seedier properties, in the middle of a demilitarized zone. Let’s see how they’re doing after the novelty wears off–after a year of two, and possibly a recession or two. Especially it FB opens with the usual mix of high prices, bad games, and garbage fees. My crystal ball is down for maintenance, but I know which way I’d bet at the moment.
