While fancy platform dancing shoes were all the rage, many ingenious and somewhat athletic discoettes realized there was much more possible by adding roller skates to the Saturday night fever. When people saw you and couples could look as graceful as a Floridian flamingos zipping in circles, sometimes backwards, the fade caught fire and soon became as intricate as onions on a hot dog. I’m inclined to buy a ticket but, I’m on the fence without knowing I’m going to see “hot girls” in “hot pants” skate backwards past me while spinning, ducking and shaking their groove thing. oh to be young again.
