The property has been owned by a company called LSRF Exhibition Invest LLC since 2009. They own approximately 105 acres. For comparisons sake, Allegiant Stadium sits on 60 acres, Bellagio is on 75 acres and most golf courses (Bali Hai, Wynn for example) are on about 140 acres.

So… if the name is not just a coincidence, they have the land already, and 105 acres is a pretty sizeable chunk of land to work with. It does have convenient freeway access right next to I-15 and Windmill, so it’s got that going for it. Which is nice. It is, however, pretty far down LV Blvd, almost 3 miles south of Mandalay Bay.

Google Maps shows a rectangular patch of Las Vegas Boulevard land southwest of the airport the size of Excal + Luxor + Mandalay, though these renderings show a mostly square property the size of one resort hotel (not three).

Then again, Google Maps also shows a rectangular patch of land where the Raiders stadium is being built, and that should be big enough to show up on satellite imagery now (so I guess the aerial images aren’t current).
