Just wanted to say I don’t how coins can come in short supply after a city lockdown, but I’m sure there’s a good reason for it. A couple years ago I remember there was a coin exchange machine at MGM. As long as you were cashing in all your quarters from Sigma Derby, they wouldn’t charge you a fee. After Sigma Derby finally died, I casually wondered if the coin exchange machine was still around but never bothered to go look for it.

Coin shortage – just another in the hit parade of frauds out there. What happened – all the guys who drive the coin trucks suddenly succumb to ventilator detonation of their lungs?

It’s another engineered crisis, like COVID itself, to move people to “touchless pay,” i.e. endless tracking of everywhere you go and everything you buy.

Businesses, ever neutral in such things because money in the door is all that matters, are literally begging you to steal you kid’s piggy banks to go gamble, y’know, because COVID, we’re all in this together, blah blah blah.

Geez – this exercise in cynicism would need to jump 200 levels of integrity just to put “pathetic” on its radar.
