Friends not worth seeing. Actors were very good but the show itself was horrible.

Spoofical did open. I know this for a fact because my wife and I were the only 2 people in the solar system who saw it using tickets that were not compensation for a timeshare presentation. It was at the saxe theater in the Aladdin mall. I really wanted to like it but it was full of inside jokes about Las Vegas that only this blog and 3 or 4 of its readers would appreciate. In other words, the intersection of its target audience and the set of people who actually saw it was exactly one person. Yours truly. Also, it was terrible. On the plus side, in order to juice up the catatonic crowd, they passed out free shots of vodka and some kind of Kool aid in the middle of the show. Didn’t seem to have any effect whatsoever. But I appreciated the gesture and gladly accepted.

Saw the show while in New York last December. Actually a very well done script and production. Any fan of the tv show will find something to love, admire and enjoy within it. Would definitley recommend seeing it when it hits The D.

Now now…this is the confirmation downtown Las Vegas is aiming to us Generation Xers.
How long is it going to last ? I bet they won’t even need to put it in the Tropicana teather to see it going bust.
Geez…I’d rather shoot myself in my right foot than go see this stuff. What’s next ? Sex and the City ?

Not high on my list of things I’d want to see, but I’d consider it. I’m just happy to see interesting, unique things coming downtown as opposed to the strip. Downtown doesn’t have enough stage entertainment options. I get why that is, but it still sucks.
