Wonder why there’s no public vote on the tax money they propose to use in building a stadium? Would the public pass a measure to support a ballpark or are they going to cram it down the public’s throat like F1? My tax dollars should go to infrastructure, schools, housing and other worthy causes, not ballparks and races.

Even if the A’s move there, they still have the lamest owner in MLB From the get go, this didn’t seem like a smart move, something stinks, that will be the smallest stadium by about 4,800 seats and unless they use some type of remote parking, can you imagine all those cars leaving a game?

Historically sad or not, The Demo makes sense. Trying to keep plumbing, electrical and structural things working in a building that old is not cost effective plus, in this day and age, the data landscape requires lots of fancy cables like fiber optic and installing that in an old building is a sheer nightmare. What doesn’t make sense is a putting a ballpark in the property. I see that as a soft draw attraction that you may visit once in awhile and have peanuts or maybe a hot dog but, it’s definitely not classified as a destination where you plan a vacation and stay for several days. maybe they should sell the property to Disney and let them develop it. It would certainly be better than a ballpark.

I have stayed there a few times over the years but the last couple visits we notice the Tropicana was looking alittle rough and not as nice as before.

A renovated hotel would have been nice but Las Vegas will judt fine with a state of the Art ballpark.

Why can’t they leave things alone!! This is a historic hotel. I enjoyed staying there long ago. And, next is the Mirage? What the he_ _?? If hard rock wants another place, tear down the one they are already in, then. The Mirage is another historical place!!! Can’t believe that those people with all the money don’t care about history.
