In reply to Eric. The general location is where the old Lobster Me location was. The whole area is a construction zone the last time i went. It's an unusual space to put in a food hall because before it was merely a walk way so it's hard to visualize it unless you're there. They took space or completely shuttered stores in the immediate vicinity of Lobster Me. I think Guess, Edge, Jolie, Cereal Killerz, Chipotle and Sock Me are all closer for this project. That's how large of a foot print the Food Hall takes up.

I’m still hoping we might see a novel approach to the food court/hall/emporium in the future. Something along the lines of paying one price so you could sample a specially curated selection of international cuisine from each outlet. Oh wait…

Of course these things are courts. I’m not sure why that has a negative connotation. If they want to class up the place they could call it a Food Plaza, but you have to pronounce it Plah-za. If you mispronounce the name, it remains a food court.

Thank you for calling it a food court. I know marketing people, as icky as they are, have to put lipstick on their pigs and make anything sound as if it’s fresh, new and/or exciting. It’s a damn food court. Calling it a food hall just means I have to share table space with some random who probably doesn’t want to share a table space with me, either.

There may not be a law, but there should be. If you want to make up a term like “food collective,” then your food had better be something other than established chain restaurants. If you have a Phat Tuesday in your collective, then you’re no more than a food court, and that is to the letter of the law. Deal with it.

“reliable food at reasonable prices….” Your mileage may vary on this one.
