I was able to play this machine at Circa on Monday this week. Went through my budget pretty quick playing 2 credits at $5. Definitely a high volatility machine and unfortunately didn’t make it to a bonus round. Ironically I hit a $1250 Gold Spin on a Wheel of Fortune machine at Aria later in the day and only got $875 cash and now have to wait until next year to file a non-resident return to get my $375 back. Sigh.

Since you were at 10480 you shouldve kept on playing till you were just under 10K because, 1. the machine was hot and 2. you wouldve gotten under the CTR limit. I’ve never paid taxes on my winnings because it’s pretty easy to claim your losses. Imagine every time you hit that deal/draw button and it gives you nothing, that is a loss.
