In reply to Las Vegas Michael. Every trip I take with my guys for March Madness begins with seeing the Dutchman --- heading to a nearby Von's to load up on liquor, snacks, coffee and other things needed to tend hangovers (we always stay at one of the properties with a full kitchen).

Another fun movie is High Roller: The Stu Ungar Story, from 2003. It’s filmed largely on location downtown, framed around the WSOP. It features Michael Imperioli, Steve Schirripa and Pat Morita, among others. Also in the cast is character actor Joe La Due. You probably don’t recognize the name, but he was in Casino, as the blackjack cheater who took the hammer. “Look what they did to my hand, man!”

And who can forget The Cooler.

When anybody in my March Madness crew needs to….uh…..drop a deuce, we call it “Soiling the Cromwell”. Because a) Cromwell used to have the nicest restrooms mid-strip and b) most of us are of Irish-American heritage, and it’s fun to imply we are treating the British disrespectfully.

This is excellent! One of my all time favorite movies. NOW can you tell us just how Danny and Rusty get their hand on blue prints of the Bellagio vault soooooooo easily?! Can’t figure that one out.
When in Vegas, I always kill a cow by the geyser. (Have a steak at PRIME at the Bellagio).

Great Vegas Movies: Fear & Loathing, Vegas Vacation, Casino, Leaving Las Vegas, 1960 Ocean’s 11, Honeymoon in Vegas, even Showgirls if you can look beyond the nudity. If you’re into the Hangover movies please stay home and watch them and don’t come bother me in real Vegas.
