Excitement up north for the first time in a while. I stayed at the Riv (ugh) a couple years ago and haven’t been up there since, but this will draw me up there to have a look later this year. I’ll be too early when I’m there in July but on my Xmas trip I’ll be checking it out.

This place seems like it has that end of the Strip figured out, do something “boutique-y” for the 20-somethings but still cater to locals. From the renders I like the vibe, funky and modern. The north end of the Strip can sure use a kick in the butt, this should help.

Thanks, John! Very excited about SLS…not just because it’s new, but because they seem to have gathered together lots of things that work at existing hotel-casinos, all in one place…a place with lots of history.

They’re going to change the name of that steakhouse. Bazaar Meat Steakhouse will sound too much like Bizzarre Meat Steakhouse. No bueno.

Wow. My first trip to Vegas was to the Sahara. I was sad to see it go, but this looks pretty amazing. Can’t wait to get out there and scope it out in 2015!
