Given MGM’s lightweight Marriott relationship, something from the Marriott portfolio was probably inevitable, and W has a lot more vibe to it than JW Marriott or Westin (plus, there’s already two Westins in town, that’s probably sufficient). Delano’s interior setup lends itself well to the kind of thing W typically does.
