In reply to Bill Looney. Stopped going to Caesars properties since the smoking room ban. We would go to Vegas 3 times a year. Now we take a shorter flight to Hard Rock in Hollywood. Lost my 7 star status but have saved thousands. Vegas isn't for real gamblers anymore.

We just tried to make reservations with Caesar’s resort/casino and Celeste told me there are no smoking rooms only. She said all have Las Vegas has gone non smoking. She couldn’t get me to a supervisor to verify.

We visit Vegas three to five times a year, love the place. In the past we stayed at the marriot grand chateau (Non-Smoking); Elara (Non-Smoking). Now we have observed that the Casino’s are going to Non-Smoking Hotels, YEA!!!!! We have reserved a room at Planet Hollywood in November to celebrate being able to relax in a, not only clean, but healthy hotel attached directly to a Casino. Now if we can get the casino’s themselves to go Clean and Healthy by going Smoke Free, wow, that will be a wonderful day. We went Smoke Free in Colorado Casino’s Years ago and it is Business as Usual; Patronage actuall increased within the Casino’s. Nothing against those who smoke, but being in a contained area where people smoke is very unhealthy to all within; no matter what you do you can not say “You have the right to smoke in this area and You have the right to NOT smoke in this area” ever. Second hand smoke is just as unhealthy as smoking; be considerate of others and move the Smoke outside. Better yet, if you smoke, quit, we would love to see you here healthy, wealthy and happy for years to come.

In reply to Wes. Looks like both Lake Tahoe properties and all of Atlantic City properties will be non smoking by fall of 2024. Still no word from Caesars but it shows when you try to book a room.

Just to let you know my wife would sooner and has stayed at a less attractive hotel that allows smoking in the room or on a balcony.
We have been doing that for three years now.

James, did you get your smoking room? I also booked a smoking room back in early March and my reservation was changed to non-smoking. After to speaking to numerous people, I was told that there were notes on my reservation stating that I booked a smoking room before the non-smoking rule went into place and I would be allowed to smoke in the room. I was wondering if they were actually honoring this or if it was just a ruse to get us there.

What’s going on with this. I booked a smoking room back in February. They changed my reservation without notifying me. I have sent them several messages to inquire about it and all of them have been ignored….. TALK ABOUT BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I am staying may 7th through May 13th and I am going to go through with it but won’t be back. No smoking polices are what they are it’s the shady way they are going about it that’s the real problem. I’ve ben visiting Vegas since the 70s and always wanted to stay at the flamingo so ya I’m pretty disappointed with the shady service already and I’m not even there yet. Next trip I’ll probably stay at a MGM property….. ya no smoking there either but they are up front about it. Shame on you ceasars entertainment

I always stay at The Wynn and Caesars properties if and when all of Caesars properties goes smoke free I will no longer patronize them. I understand the casino floor being smoke free but the hotel rooms should be off limits. It’s as though they’re taking away your rights. They better not be selling their overpriced cigarettes in the gift shop either!
