Did Suzanne get fired from this show because the “Vague” answers she gives are always twisted in with lies so her ego isn’t bruised I’ve noticed on many occasions. She was bragging that the show was going to be amazing and that the hotel was going to provide her with everything organic in her room while she stayed there as she was going to perform her residency. She said she was going to sell her organic cosmetics as well..I saw a YouTube video of her show and frankly it was pretty damn good..she can really sing. It was like a nice speak easy type show with sequins on her gowns that made her look great. So this issue of “timing” sounds like a cover for maybe she just didn’t sell enough tickets or there wasn’t enough advertising, yet I did go to Vegas and I remember seeing her huge marquee on one of those moving ones that go all over Vegas advertising new shows..She had a huge one and it looked great, so I’m guessing that either the same issue of money. …Alan, via the producers at Three’s Company, in my opinion, actually ruined her acting career on what was a very successful show from the history I read about it. He went in without her and demanded that she get paid as much as what Alan Alda, Carol O’Connor, on two of the longest running and highly rated TV shows and two of the most famous MOVIE stars..Suzanne was a virtual unknown at the time she got Three’s Company ..John Ritter was a well known actor as well as the star of the show. She had 3rd billing. I will definitely agree the show did excellent when she was on opposed to the others who followed her after the debacle that Alan demanded she get..$100k an episode, plus any and all Three’s Company merchandise, and 10% of the back end..Today that would be nothing compared to the million dollars per episode the entire cast of Friends made in the last 3 years of the show..Plus the royalties etc..I don’t know if in the 70’s they received royalties like they do now..because if that were the case, everyone from The Brady Bunch would be well worth over $200 million or more..This show has been on the air since 1969. This has been 51 years and it’s still popular with each new generation as it’s playing on streaming apps like Hulu, and on MeTv…many actors from hit shows from the 60’s and 70’s didn’t get anything at all what they should have received, considering how many years these shows have been in syndication.. it’s a very odd situation. I’m guessing 3’s Co., made now billions for the networks and if they had deals for merch and royalties and all the things they get now..This would have made all of them extremely wealthy. Unfortunately Ritter passed too young whIle doing another hit show…that was horrible. Joyce and Suzanne’s got together to talk after 30 years on this great show I loved she had that was all about healthy lifestyles, healthy bioideticals and eating and great information from some great Dr’s. ..I don’t know what happened to that show either. It was on line and I believe it started on TV on some channel and I didn’t really catch that one ..I did catch the exact same show she put on line on Cafe Mom. Why that cancelled is unbeknownst to me as I asked her what happened on Instagram . .She never answered any of us who questioned it because we wondered why it was on one day and suddenly it was just gone…Again..so we never got an answer to that either. I remember John Ritter was being interviewed by someone and was asked if he ever talked to Suzanne ever after all those years after all the stuff that went on during this blow up on TC…He said no and when he said no, the guy said, did you know she was recovering from breast cancer ..He said really, you know Suzanne lies so much, I wouldn’t doubt it if she were lying because of all the lies I experienced with her when I worked with her. .this was something. ..She said before he died he called her and said something about getting together and possibly doing a show together. I don’t know if any of that’s true but he didn’t sound happy at all.. He did say that he was fully aware about how the ratings weren’t as good since she left. One of the producers stated that Suzanne approached him and asked him if they could just forget everything and go back to the show again. He said no way because of all of she and Alans demands, the way it was handled and the way she lied about missing all the filming when she still had contractual obligations, making people wait hours, change entire scripts and have to do the show without her because she lied and said she had broken ribs, her wardrobe assistant said she had absolutely NO broken ribs and definitely lied all those weeks missing filming and making all who worked on the show wait endlessly and they again, just ended up filming without her. They all said she lied about everything. All the stars, producers, crew …Everyone. so she says she left Hollywood when in reality, they knew she was problematic, so they absolutely didn’t want to work with her or deal with Alan and his insane demands. To compare yourself to Oscar winners and Emmy winners who were also huge movie stars as well as on huge hit shows was a big deal back then because she was in no way, shape or form in the same caliber as they were. They were paid higher salaries because their shows were incredibly high rated, long running shows that then branched off into more spin off shows, whereas 3C tried but failed with all of the spin offs….Huge difference. Today 3C wouldn’t really work because it’s been done to death. She’s supposed to be worth $100 million dollars now mainly due to the Thigh Master and her HSN products. That made Joan Rivers a boatload of money as well..Suzanne seems to have really good health products and cute workout clothes and many other food items as she’s a really good cook, so I think she’s definitely found her niche as far as her being an author and selling healthy items. So it all really worked out well for her..

I wondered about this too. She had just been on Dancing with the Stars when this show was announced. Donny and Marie got really lucky with their show at the Flamingo. They had also both been on Dancing with the Stars. I kind of wondered if Suzanne was hoping to have the same luck they did.

Suzanne Somers made more money from the ThighMaster alone than most people make in a lifetime so no need to hold a fundraiser. At 68 she should take a break and enjoy her wealth but her ego wont allow it. Show business can be habit forming. As far as Dirk Arthur goes everybody loves animals..right?.

When I saw that Suzanne was headlining, I was baffled as to the demographic that Westgate was targeting. I couldn’t imagine there would be throng of people to see Suzanne. Then again, I couldn’t imagine throngs of people paying to see Britney Spears lip sync her greatest auto-tuned hits and she’s doing quite well it seems.

I guess they’ll have to stick in another Cirque show.
