The new Starbucks is the best thing that could happen at Caesars (Aside from fixing the traffic crossover at the Strip entrance). I’ve been there many a night at 2am wishing I could get a Starbucks. The other Starbucks at Caesars has seating for something like four people. I hope this is open 24 hours.

I once asked the bartender at Mesa Grill if there was a Starbucks around and she told me that’s the question she gets asked most often. This is badly needed. Not everyone wants to drink booze or soda or cranberry juice all night long, especially when a lot of money is on the line.

Although I must admit, I’ve never asked any of the slot machine waitresses for coffee. I should try that some time.

*sigh* The sad thing about that sign is that a new Starbucks IS considered re-invention on the Strip lately. Walgreens, CVS, Starbucks; it seems as soon as a unique store or restaurant closes a chain or franchise takes its place. Careful, Vegas, pretty soon we’ll be able to replicate a Vegas trip by heading over to the local neighborhood strip mall.
