Please implode it so we can get a bigger F1 track. Vegas needs more F1.
]]>Seriously, who cares about lot size? Whatever they (corporate) build, it won’t enhance the Vegas vibe. A baseball stadium? that certainly doesn’t scream “party”. Corporations have ruined what was once the greatest party place in the world, and they did it all because of a spreadsheet. At least the mob was visionary. they knew the formula for making you feel special right down to your last dollar. These days it’s blinking video machines that seldom pay, poor drink service and food prices that give you buyers remorse. The value and attraction that made Vegas great is all but gone.
]]>You need to rethink your screen name. Both towers are 230 feet (70 meters) tall. The closest building at Oyo is at least 400 feet (120 meters) from the nearest of the two Tropicana towers.
For your scenario to happen, the tower coming down would need to magically grown an extra 16 stories as it collapses AND fall in a completely different direction than intended.
Please, just go look at an aerial map.
]]>The implosion proves absolutely nothing, as the plan was always to demolish it. Time will tell on the rest.
