People flock to U2. I don’t get it, but they’re a huge deal more four decades after they first got together. Hard to believe these lads were 15-16 years old when they first got their act together. Good songs, but not good enough, and not nearly enough of them, to make me want to pack a stadium or a sphere to hear the music. But U2 doesn’t need me, and I don’t have enough disposable cash for a ticket anyway, so I’m of no value to them. It’s a weird world, God bless all of you paying hundreds to fill the sphere.

I love “U2, a band popular in the ’80s and ’90s” like we are talking about The Bangles or Sonic Youth.
This show should be unreal. I wonder if they will keep it to the 90 minute mark like Caesar’s residencies but not attached to a casino, maybe not?

In reply to George.. Bono does spend more time than palatable telling everyone and the United States what they should be doing. Would be a much better concert experience if he stuck to singing the songs. Also, he and the band dodge taxes in their home country and then complain that not enough is done to help the poor and oppressed. Well, pay your taxes Bono so then your government can help the poor and oppressed. Ticket prices are outrageous as well. Liked them a lot at one time but not anymore.
