Quite a contrast between the crowd playing the lowest limit poker in Vegas while watching the nightclub crowd stagger/slink/stumble out at 6 am. At one point I mumbled something to the dealer sitting next to me about some drunk kid taking a long time with a decision (as he talked the whole time about what a big decision it was). When he heard me, he said, “Pump the brakes, one-seat!” My poker friends and I have now adopted that exclamation and use it all the time.

Of course, who in this town hasn’t run afoul of Wynn at least once? And don’t forget the Liason experiment across the street at Ballys. Ok, forget that. A rare derailment for him. Most of the time he’s got the Midas touch when it comes to the clubs, so he’ll probably stay close to the formula.
