Bakkt is a good choice to maximize recognition in the “all important 18-34 age group.” But the talent they’ve booked runs counter to that name. Only 47% of Keith Urban’s streaming service listeners are under 34. Miranda Lambert’s audience skews younger, but she’s offset by Jeff Dunham on Sundays. And The Chicks dates throw the audience well into the over 34 set. There’s more to being like The Cosmopolitan than changing your name. Now you have an audience that may be too old to develop loyalty to the Bakkt brand. Not sure why Bakkt would pay for that.
